Effective August 26, 2026
We understand that plans can change. Because the studio purchases materials, reserves space, and prepares
projects in advance, the following refund and cancellation terms apply to all bookings.
1. Paint-Your-Own-Pottery (PYOP) Classes
Cancellations must be received at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time to qualify for a refund.
Cancellations received less than 48 hours before the class are non-refundable. However, the customer’s originally selected PYOP item will be set aside so the customer may paint that same item during regular walk-in studio hours.
Customers should contact the studio before visiting to confirm availability and arrange access to the reserved item. This accommodation has no cash value and may not be exchanged for a different item unless approved by the studio.
2. Clay Classes
Cancellations must be received at least five calendar days before the scheduled start time to qualify for a refund.
Cancellations received fewer than five calendar days before the class are non-refundable because the studio will have already reserved space, allocated materials, and begun preparing for the class.
A customer may contact the studio owner to request that some or all of the amount paid be transferred to another eligible event. Transfers are not automatic and are subject to the studio owner’s approval, class availability, preparation costs already incurred, and any difference in price. A request to transfer does not guarantee approval.
3. No-Shows
A customer who does not attend a scheduled class or event and does not notify the studio before its scheduled start time will be considered a no-show.
No-shows are not eligible for a refund, studio credit, rescheduling, or transfer of amounts paid. This policy applies because materials, staffing, and studio space have already been prepared and reserved for the customer or group.
4. Private Group and Business Events
Private events booked for personal groups, organizations, or businesses require a $100 booking fee.
- The fee reserves the requested event date and time.
- The fee helps cover scheduling, administrative, staffing, and preparation costs.
- The fee is non-refundable.
- The fee is separate from, and will not be applied toward, the cost of pottery, clay, materials, or other event purchases.
The $100 booking fee and all other anticipated charges will be disclosed before the booking is completed.
5. How to Cancel
All cancellations and transfer requests must be submitted through the studio’s designated contact method. A cancellation iseffective when it is received by the studio, not when it is sent. Customers should retain their cancellation confirmation.
Cancellation deadlines are calculated from the event’s scheduled start time using the studio’s local time zone.
6. Cancellations by the Studio
If the studio cancels an event and cannot provide a suitable replacement date, affected customers may choose either:
- A refund of the class or event amount paid, including any booking fee for an event canceled by the studio; or
- A transfer of the amount paid to another available class or event.
The studio is not responsible for incidental expenses incurred by customers, such as travel or lodging, except where
otherwise required by law.
7. Emergencies and Severe Weather
Requests involving documented emergencies may be considered individually at the studio owner’s discretion. Severe weather, unsafe travel conditions, utility interruptions, government orders, or circumstances outside the studio’s reasonable control may result in an event being rescheduled. Any refund, credit, or transfer will be handled fairly and in accordance with applicable law.
8. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will generally be returned to the original payment method. Processing time may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.
9. Acceptance and Legal Rights
By completing a booking, the customer acknowledges and accepts this policy. The policy should be made available before payment is collected and may also appear in the customer’s booking confirmation.
Nothing in this policy limits any consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be waived. If applicable law conflicts with any part of this policy, the applicable law will control.
